As the first building in Berlin for many years, the “house of one” will be built from fired bricks. It’s planned to be a place for the encounter of religions.
Therefore the foundation “House of One – Bet- und Lehrhaus Berlin” has had a sample facade built in advance on the building site Petriplatz to test the weather resistance, aesthetics, colour etc. of the traditional building material.
As a public presentation, the sample facade invites the public to this masonry laboratory accompanied by the vernissage of the exhibition “House of One – a Berlin peace project for the world”.
The “showcase” allows a view of the construction site and at the same time conveys the project’s concern to function as an interreligious meeting place.
The vernissage will take place on 21.01.2020 at 9:30 am on the construction site at Petriplatz/Scharrenstraße.
