Wall Murals, Berlin Wall Memorial

Over a 1.4 km stretch alongside Bernauer Straße, which used to be part of the border strip, there is a key monument to the division of Germany. The area integrates traces of the original border post, which have been emphasised and heightened.
For this open-air exhibition, molitor will provide large-scale wall murals on the two fire walls flanking the exhibition area in accordance with historical photographs that depict street scenes and snapshots from the history of Bernauer Straße during the period when the Wall was there.
