In the temporary exhibition at Grimmwelt Kassel “The Rumpelstiltskin File. Looking for clues in fairy tales and law”, visitors are invited to consider the ideas of good, evil, justice and morality against the backdrop of the Brothers Grimm and their fairy tales.
The exhibition is split into three chapters.
First, visitors are transported into a fairytale world where they are asked to question the generally accepted distinctions between good and evil in such fables.
The middle chapter presents the Brothers Grimm as judges, looking for clues that point to their own views on justice and morality in their lifetime.
The third and final chapter examines the question of how written law and ideas of justice change in line with an ever-changing society.
Numerous hands-on stations invite visitors to actively participate in the exhibition topics, view ideas from different perspectives and draw their own conclusions.
molitor was responsible for planning and designing the exhibition, which also presents historical original exhibits from numerous institutions.
