Alongside his work as an author, Arno Schmidt was also an ambitious photographer. The exhibition features a slide show of almost two-and-a-half-thousand photos at his former house in Bargfeld, as well as an open-air exhibition on a neighbouring plot of land.
molitor handles the production management on behalf of the foundation “Arno-Schmidt-Stiftung”. In order to protect the outdoor installations from the elements, the photographs appear as aluminium Dibond prints that are covered in a weatherproof film and attached to a steel construction with below-ground foundations.
