In this exhibition, the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg confronts the colonial references of its collections. Biographies and objects show and arrange traces of colonial continuities that reach from the 17th century to the present.
The focus is on strategies and practices of the court and the monarchy, revealing the hitherto little-noticed complexity of the colonial history of Brandenburg and Prussia.
