A lot of progress has been made since Grün Berlin began building and renovating the former Spreepark. The central areas are set to be completed by 2026.With the new Spreepark, the capital is regaining an historic location where all Berliners can participate in the space’s evolution, design and future. The idea is to transform the former rides and relics of the past, to rethink their use and to harmoniously combine them with experiences of art, culture and nature.
The “Eierhäuschen” (Egg House) will be the first part to be reopened, following extensive renovations to the building that respected its listed status.
The information containers set up to accompany the park’s conversion inform visitors about construction progress and give an impression of the future Spreepark as a hub for art and culture.

From the accessible roof platform of the container at the corner of Wasserweg and Dammweg, visitors have a good view over the construction site and can observe the changes being made to the Ferris wheel and the adjacent pond. Visitors can also find ground-floor updates on construction progress at any time in the information container at the Eierhäuschen.
molitor was responsible for planning and setting up the containers as well as for the graphic design, production and installation of the five information panels.
